Name: Maxine Georgia Elizabeth Charles
Nickname: Blue-Eyed Missy or Missy
Age: 20-ish (exact age unknown)
Gender: Female
History: Sold into slavery at an early age, Missy cannot remember anything before her life of captivity. Because of her blue eyes, she was a high bid and usually used as a house servant, entertainer (specifically dancer) and sex slave. Around ages seventeen or eighteen, she was sold off again to a pirate ship called The Marmalade, who had a captain named Shane Matters. Terrified out of her wits, Missy expected to be tormented by the pirates because of all the stories she has heard about them throughout her travels. Yet, when she arrived on the boat, she was freed from her chains and allowed to walk around the ship as much as she pleased. Her only restriction was that she had to stay on the boat at all times unless ordered otherwise.
Two or so years passed and Capt. Matters had grown fond of Missy and when they reached shore, he promised her a special gift after he returned. Anticipation filled her spirit as she counted down the hours until his return. Finally, at sunset, he returned with a paper with his signature and a large bag of gold. He said that from the moment she signed the paper, she was considered free. Astonished with the gesture, she quickly signed the paper and snatched the bag of gold; she was freed!
Despite her recently gained freedom, Missy remained on Capt. Matters' ship for this was her first time above deck on a ship; it was still a little scary for her. From Matters and his crew, Missy learned much about the parts and navigation of the ship. She also learned how to give orders and eventually she was made Matters' first mate. However, tragedy struck and one night, the ship found itself under attack by another pirate ship. The crew did everything they could to save the ship; however, only five survived the raid, one of them being Missy. Matters, unfortunately, was killed. Upon reaching shore, Missy and the four other sailors parted, believing that it would be best, and from then on, Missy has been moving from place to place, trying to find another home again.
Personality: With a scowl forever on her face, she is at the ready to bark an order. Very bossy, pushy and inconsiderate of others' feelings, she is like a captain without a ship. She is not a very nice person and quite sarcastic, replying idiotically when asked idiotic questions. A sharp and quick tongue as well as a short temper allows this little firecracker to get into some trouble with the other pirates. Yet she does not care and even likes the fact that many know her as "Blue-Eyed Missy, the evilest little black girl ya ever see!"
Apperance:
Blue-Eyed Missy obviously has blue eyes, big, round, dark blue eyes that match the color of ocean on a clear day. Along with her blue eyes comes dark skin, a sort of dark muddy brown tone. Her lips, full and tender, are painted a pale dark purple that matches her skin quite well. She isn't tall, standing only about five feet, yet she has a wine bottle shape, somewhat narrow at the top, while having wide hips and a big behind.
Missy likes to keep her look simple...without all the jewelry, all the fancy hair and stylish clothes. Her hair is covered with a simple light blue bandanna with some of strands of her hair escaping out. The hair that is not covered her favorite and only bandanna is neatly braided into about six single braids, making it easy to do her hair in the morning. The only accent of jewelry she wears are two gold hoop earrings that are not the best gold around, but don't look cheap either. Her shirt is a little different from what other women may wear. Part of her shirt is a piece of cotton covered with gold dots, stopping right under her bust. From then down until the end of her shirt is brown leather with stomach showing, cris-crossing across her belly button. Her pants are brown, comfortable, and baggy, and tucked into her pair of golden boots. No skirts, no dresses for this little Missy.
